level of fitness is required as there will
be some walking to view places of interest.

on access, safety and other guidelines.
The suggested dates above are based on previous
years with minimal wet season rainfall.
Please note the falls actually stop flowing
during the 'Dry Season' giving the hiker
the chance to walk up to the memorial and
tranquil Jim Jim Gorge base pools.

Itinerary:
Dry
Season Program
(From May/June to November - depending on seasonal conditions
and park access)
Day 1 - Darwin to Kakadu
Spot crocodiles (and other
wild creatures!) on a cruise along the fresh waters of
the Mary River Wetlands. After lunch, discover more about
the land and its stories at the Bowali Visitor Centre.
The whole of Kakadu is spread out before you at Ubirr Rock,
where we spend the afternoon. Tonight we camp in National
Park. (LD)
Day 2 - Kakadu to Darwin
Jim Jim Falls is our
first stop today, and its a stunner! Youll feel a bit dwarfed
by the towering cliffs as we hike to the base of the falls.
By now youve probably worked up an appetite for some lunch!
This afternoon the spectacular gorge of Twin Falls
is experienced onboard a National Park operated boat and along
the boardwalk. Unwind for a bit on the sandy banks before
we trek back to Darwin. (BL)

Park fees of: $25 Kakadu Park
entry fee + $12.50 Boat Transfer fee (Twin Falls boat transfer
- seasonal) is payable on morning of departure.
The above program should only be used as a guideline and
tour guides may change programs at their discretion to suit
the specific interests of their group.
Safaris must be reconfirmed by 4pm the day before travel
direct with the tour operator.
